We offer open open gym whenever we’re open, with one hour, two hour, and all day passes. It can be great to come in and try whatever you want to without needing to follow the structure of a class. But without that structure and the direction of a coach, it can be hard to make the most of your time. Here are some tips to help you have the best open gym session possible!
Try everything:
We have a huge variety of obstacles in our ninja warrior arenas. You never know which one will be your favorite. Especially if it’s one of your first few times in the gym, don’t be afraid to give everything a try!
Come with a friend:
Doing ninja alone can be fun, but it’s better with a friend! Bring someone to the gym to work on things together, and show each other your skills. Your friends can lead you to new things you’d never think of on your own.
Ask a coach:
If you don’t know what to do next, ask a coach to give you a challenge. We have challenges on every obstacle, and for all levels. Our coaches can always give you something fun to work on!
Pick a skill:
Is there an obstacle you’re struggling on? A challenge you haven’t gotten? An open gym session is a great time to work on one skill for as long as you want to. Classes might move you to a new obstacle before you’re ready. With open gym, you can take as long as you need to and give everything you have to the skill you want to build.
Ask for a game:
Our staff members know lots of fun games. You can always ask them to break out the microphone and lead a few group activities for anyone who wants to join!
