Each week a new course is designed using a series of obstacles to challenge athletes in a variety of different areas such as strength, balance, and endurance. The obstacles chosen are inspired by those used in the Development Classes during the week. Coaches will lead a "rules and walk-through" of the course, demonstration of the obstacles, and allow some time to practice. At the end of Ninja Night, if time allows, students may have redemption time to play on obstacles in the competition. Ninja Night Sessions run for 90 to 120 minutes depending on class size.
